Looks like we can't link to ImageShack images so I fixed it into a URL.

Right now DOF PRO cannot create normal maps. I'm not sure how they could be beneficial to generating depth of field effects, though. Could you give an example?

These type of maps are used as texture bump maps in 3d scenes.
They are also used to extract 3d depth information, in order to
process images into real 3d relief sculptures when combined
with a cnc router table.

hence its possible to take the image described in the attached link
and have a cnc machine carve a terrain or relief of that image.
